Projects in China

Many projects are being formed and taking place in China to fight the spread of air pollution. Organizations are coming together to fight for improvement in their society. Government involvment is also taking place, they are showing more interest in keeping the environment more clean.

Clean Air Task Force

Armond Cohen, Executive Director of CATF, says, "CATF has long been at the vanguard of brokering partnerships between US energy companies and Chinese energy entities for the development of clean energy technologies, particularly for CCS on coal-fired power plants both in the US and in China."

GreenPeace East Asia

The GreenPeace is an enviromental friendly organization from East Asia that focuses on the improvement of China's air quality. There main point is simple, "The solutions to air pollution are straightforward and simple but they require government action: quit coal, establish clear, strict air quality standards and introduce effective policy instruments to curb the rapid growth of the number of vehicles on the roads."

The United States Environmental Protection Agency
